How much locksmiths charge per hour and each day in London? Does it vary depending on whether you live in the city, on the edge of the city or in the suburban areas of the general London area? Or on the other hand, are the prices practically the same?

I would suggest between £60.00 and £80.00 for an hour. We charge £55.00 for the first hour and £10.00 per 15 minutes after this. This is in the suburbs. Central London will be higher. Expect to pay more out of hours, at weekends and on Bank Holidays. Always get a quote before any work is started if possible. Sadly there are a fair few rip off merchants in the trade. Some locksmiths will say they charge a lower labour rate but then hit you with a call out charge.
Make sure you always get a varied amount of quotes before going ahead with the job.
Personally, I charge a £65 labour charge. I never charge a call out fee. The £65 covers you for the first 2 hrs work which most jobs are usually completed within.
Prices do vary but never ever call a locksmith from Google ads, they are usually a national company who will try and rip you off. Stick to these type of sites or googlemaps

Depending on what the job is locksmiths will normally charge by the hour  from £50 to £95 depending what the job is. If u need the locksmith for a whole day always ask there day rate.
