Moving tricky furniture items

Question

There are a few tricky items that could cause problems when we move, including the bed and wardrobes, as the stairs are a bit tight. Should we insist the removal company come and take a look beforehand?

We run a firm for moves and any company that your hire should come along to survey property first, they would be unable to give an accurate quote without viewing the property

Most removal company’s know what there attending to and having to contend with such as big items so I cant see why not, if it’s got in there it can always be took out the same way just tell them when they get there or give them a quick call they should reassure you it won’t be a problem.
