Moving heavy furniture from home

How do I protect my wood floors when moving heavy furniture out of the house? Is there something I can use to help protect them or should I hire the professionals?

"Hi

There are heavy duty floor protection cardboard which I use to protect hard flooring when decorating customers homes called x boards availability at Toolstation and online. And for added protection you could use a roll of protective fleece also available at Toolstation

"It is possible to get them covered and projected with something. The better option to make sure your floors stay as they are, would be to hire in some professionals to remove the furniture for you.

Many Thanks
