Moles in the garden

It appears we have moles in our garden. Is it ok to leave them to it or should we do something to deter them?

"Moles aren’t actually bad or harmful to your garden they actually eat most of the narsty insects and create a free fertiliser and aerate your soil
If you do wish to remove them you should all Ways think about a natural approach before having them terminated.
As Moles are known for their acute sense of smell putting any strong un natural smell in a hole for example coffee grounds and castor oil mixed with cayenne pepper. This should clear the problem

If still not fixed you call Also use special smoke bombs witch you set out in one of the hole and the fumes will flush them out I would always recommend speaking to a professional before going with this Option

Hopefully you find this useful

"Morning Robert, the only solution to getting rid of moles is either trapping or gassing.
The things you see in garden centres like electrical deterrents just do not work and are a waste of money.
Personally I would carry out a trapping program as i do no agree with gassing.this will remove the moles that are there and then the area can be monitored for any further activity.

"Hi Robert.

Sometimes you can leave them and they dissappear because there is insufficient food source, however, in my professional capacity of a molecatcher, it generally gets worse and the only option is to trap them.
Please do not waste your money on deterents or sonics they do not work.
Please feel free to contact me for further advise
Hope this helps
