    Missing channels on Sky Q Box

    Aerial Specialists

    My Sky Q box is missing some channels and I’ve no idea why. I am subscribed to these channels. What is causing this problem?

    "Hi,

    It can be a couple of different things but the most likely one is that your LNB (front part of satellite dish) is faulty.

    It's best to get someone to diagnose the problem.

    "What is on screen when you put one of the channels you’re subscribed to?
    Do the cables go direct to your box, or via a multimedia wall plate? Some wall plates don’t allow the whole bandwidth of signal to pass through to your box meaning channels are missing."

    "Probably best to speak with sky and they can tell you how to reset the receiver, if you have already done this and still have missing channels they should send out an engineer to test the signals from the dish.
    Due to the current covid restrictions, you may need to wait for an appointment and they may not be able to enter the property.

    It could be your dish isn’t perfectly aligned or it could be that your viewing card needs to pairing, you could give sky a call and ask them to resend you the signals, this might clear it.
