kinchen flooring

I have tiles down on my kitchen floor, and one of them has cracked the flooring has been down for a few years, can I put vinyl down on top of the tiles as I know it would be a big job to get the tiles lifted

"If sheet vinyl I would latex/screed first or you will start to see the shape of the tiles through the vinyl come time, plus it won't be flat to walk on, if click vinyl with integrated it underlay, I would put that down straight on top."

"You should be able to put vinyl down on it as long as the crack isn't thick in size otherwise it would eventually burst. If the crack is thick then maybe put some filler in it before putting the vinyl down"

"Hi yes you can but would have to self level it first otherwise will rip, would be only a matter of time...
Personally I'd lift tiles screed floor then use a mid range vinyl.. wish you all the best of luck..

"Yes you can put the vinyl on the floor but full the cracked in the floor before you do so OK if you don't you will damage the vinyl make sure the surface is level for the vinyl"

"Generally speaking there is not a problem to py nivyl on top of tiles. Make sure the floor is level and do not use a chep new flooring"
