"Hi you did not say which birds are the problem, in many cases its usually Feral Pigeons and they can nest under the panels. But crows do sometimes attack solar panels as they see their reflection and don't like the competition.

If its pigeons I would suggest getting the sides of the panels as suggested already."

"The only safe way to keep birds off solar panels is to have the panels netted this way the birds will satay away for good but please be aware there are companys charging a fortune toinsatll the netting the most expensive part of the job if the house is bigger than a bungalow is the scaffolding please get as many prices as you can before going ahead"

"We carry out solar panel proofing, guaranteeing you ten years plus they wont return. We fit spikes around the panels which stops them getting in.
Scaffolding will be needed to get to the roof so that needs to be taken into consideration.
Check out our instagram and Facebook pages of previous jobs we have done."

"The panels have to be proofed. This is a very common problem with solar panels as the demand for them increases. Call in a professional pest control company who have the skills and equipment to secure the panels against further bird intrusion"

"Hi Carole.

We use a specialist formed mesh to prevent birds from nesting and and roosting under solar panels which is highly successful, the mesh will also prevent squirrel from building dreys under solar panels.
Regards.
Chris."
