Is it possible to re-sand wood flooring or/and engineered wood flooring?

Hi, I’ve some questions regarding re-sanding flooring. Is it possible to re-sand wood flooring or/and engineered wood flooring? Might it depend on the exact flooring product in question? Thanks!

"Yes it is possible to sand down but really depends on the wood thickness and can be done by a floor sander to take out scuff marks completely or reduce them and wear and tear. This depends on the grade of sand paper used from rough to fine to finish off. Afterwards the finishing can be applied such as varnish, coloured varnish, wood dye, and wood oil. It is best to research the brand of flooring you have and that your floor is ok to sand 1mm to 2mm minimum."
