The Job Decscription Stated: The toilet exhibits insufficient flushing efficacy, resulting in residual waste post-flush, and the cistern's refill rate is markedly reduced. It is imperative to undertake maintenance to enhance the cistern's refill velocity AND to optimise the flushing mechanism to ensure complete evacuation of waste material. It was listed as less than £100 I was contacted by the contractor who said for £120 he would fix. I was out walking the dog so missed his arrival next day. When I arrived (at most twenty minutes after him), he was already packing up. He had installed a new refill valve, but the rusting and wiggling flush handle was still in place. He also informed that the residual waste material was due to the "drain" and not the flush. He had also managed to break the toilet seat. Having a five minute crash course in plumbing an being shown drain infrastructure we settled on a price of £100 - with him describing the job as t -an emergency call-out - and a new toilet seat, to be supplied and fitted next day. I consider the job as not completed. The new toilet seat now wiggles when you sit on it. The flush still does not work, it now generally requires about three pushes on the wiggling and rusting flush handle to make the flush work at all. We've paid £100 and our toilet is worse than when we started. It would have been 2 stars, for at least keeping with communication. However when I sent a draft review I've received nothing from him since. It is a pity that you have to be a qualified plumber in order to have a simple job carried out. Poor, poor service.

Radiator
John came and we discussed what I required. He explained what type of radiator was required. He gave me a quote which I accepted. He came back a few days later to do the job. I was entirely satisfied and John was very personable. Would strongly recommend John and I would use his services again.

John was really good. Turned up when he said he would and sorted the problem with the radiator out quickly and efficiently. He cleared up most of the mess, leaving me very little to clean up afterwards. The price for the job was reasonable too. I’ll definitely use John again. Thanks
