Replace Taps with Mixer Shower Unit
I needed a new mixer tap for a bath in a new build home that didn’t have a shower over it. John arrived on time with the tap I requested. The holes unfortunately were not the right size for the tap as they had been drilled (by someone else) too close together. I was told his call out fee was £80 which I accepted but I asked if I could get another tap quickly. Whilst John was able to wait whilst I purchased another tap which I was grateful for, the finish, in my view, was not acceptable. The brand new bathroom wall tiles were chipped where the shower head was drilled in. The receipt said “make good bath panel” however five minutes after John left I checked it and it has completely come out at one end and now I cannot get it to stay in. The old caulk was not removed and it was gone over, creating thick lumpy uneven finish which looks absolutely appalling and I have had to request someone else comes out and refinishes it properly. I would have asked for him to come back but the tiles just cannot be fixed and after paying over £120 I decided it wasn’t worth the risk to ask for him to come back. There were elements I was satisfied but overall a poor experience for myself

My mixer tap was leaking. it was fitted with a new one and also got toilet sorted as it was not flushing properly. Everything sorted and John did an excellent job.
