I can see a hole in my attic

I live in a terraced house and have just noticed that I can see daylight from the attic through a hole. However, the hole is in the area of the dividing wall between my house and next door, so could technically be on their side.

Should I be worried about this and how can I resolve it? I do have pictures if needed

"Hey bud if its on there side but you can see it can still cause you a problem and I would advise you say to your nabour to see if they can see the same in there attic and can be something as simple as tile/slate amd felt repair to fixs the issue"

"Without photos there seems to be an issue either tile/slate has came loose and out of position and also the possibility of the felt to be able to see daylight. Could be a potential issue to both you and your neighbour"

"I would get someone round to have a look see who's roof is where the damage is and why you can see daylight
By the sounds of it its the join from there roof to yours
It depends if you both have the same tile running through both roofs or if there is an dividing ridge or a secret valley
It may need both of you and neighbours to pay or who's side of the roof It is and yes it can cause an issue and something to worry about especially with the weather we are having and time of year (winter
Will cause damage and future damage long-term if not sorted"
