How to ventilate an under stairs cupboard?

the cupboard under our stairs smells musty and theres black mould on the back wall. wondering what sort of vent would sort it

Hi, you can fit a variety of  of ventilation covers to under stairs cupboards,  the bigger the vent, the more ventilation,  the more vents you fit, even more ventilation,  but you need to access were you putting it, incase there are cables, pipes etc within the place you choose to install it, also  you need to assess why its smelling like this cheers mark

If there is a external wall under the stair you could put a vent through the wall. You could vent throgh the fliorvif its a timber floor and you could vent through the door

If you have a door on the cupboard.... You can put a vent top and bottom of the door....  They sometimes do it on boiler cupboards as well... Or if there is an outside wall you can drill through and put vents on.... This way does make it cold in the winter ... I hope this helps....I'm Samuel Davies
