How to stop weeds growing through a gravel driveway

Weeds keep coming through our gravel driveway no matter how many times we treat them. Is there a more permanent fix?

"You will need to take it up and fit a weed barrier membrane.

I personally double layer it in a crossover pattern.

"You could dig it up lay a protective membrane, and lay a new resin driveway"

"Simple terms membrane is required.
But if the gravel is on a dirt bed then its a lot harder
To stop them.
A gravel drive should
follow these simple steps
Full excavation of soil and waste.
Lay Membrain
Type 1 hard-core
G-core membrane
And finish with gravel"
