How to stop water trickling into the toilet bowl

There's a constant trickle of water going into the toilet bowl, you can hear it and see it. The cistern fills normally though. Is this a flapper issue?

"Its most likely the rubber seal, depending on what cistern ect can be an easy fix."

"Ajust the inlet valve from inlet the cistern to stop water from cycling or get the inlet valve change"

"You may need to lift the lid and see if the water is constantly filling it will need a new fill valve, if the water stops at the correct level, it’s the rubber seal on the flush siphon itself"

"The rubber seal at the bottom of the flush valve is likely faulty. Replace the rubber seal if possible, but they can be hard to match up. A new flush valve is likely the best answer.
The other possible cause is that the fill valve is not closing completely which would cause the cistern to overfill and run through the overflow."

"More than likely the flush valve will be passing. Although it could be the fill valve is not shutting off correctly"

"Hi you might need to replace filing valve that’s faulty if it’s still filled and still dribbling photo would be nice to see to understand the issue."

"Rather the fill valve washer is perished causing water to constantly run through the the overflow into the toilet, or the flush valve washer is perished allowing water to pass into the toilet"

"Looks like you have a leak in you valve sometimes you can adjust the long screww on top of syfon other time you must go deeper and change the rubber seal inside but please remember to turn the stopcock off"

"Hi, depending on the type of toilet and the fixtures inside it’s either a seal on the flush mechanism or the basket that hold it in place. Could also be the inlet / fill valve not shutting off and allowing the water level to exceed the internal overflow level."
