How long does it take to fit new doors

Just finished up with some downstairs renovations and the last thing we need to deal with are the doors. How long should this take someone to do and how much will it cost? There are four doors

"Depends on how the frames are if the doors need a lot of fitting
Price depends on what type of doors they are
At a estimate 4 doors £240"

"Hello. Well done getting where you are with your renovation.

Installing new doors as an idea of time. It really all depends, which I know isn’t helpful, it depends if you are installing new doors in old door frames. If the frames are square and plumb that’s fine. If the frames are all wonky then you will shoot the door in (cut it and pane it to fit). As an experienced carpenter you can install 3 to 5 doors in a day depending on all the variables.

Second part of your question. Because there are so many variables on installing doors. You will be charged per door. This way if it takes the carpenter a morning to do all the doors or takes him 2 days you are safe financially. I charge £95 per door. I am sure you can find cheaper and more expensive. All I will say, it is not a handyman job. It’s a skill.

I hope this helps you and others."

"Depends really on how bad frames are but should usually be able to do 4 doors with ironmongery in a day"

"It’s about £85 per door depending on door and the lining it’s being hang on easy doors and good frames can be done in one day heavy doors and twisting linings two days"
