"Hello. Well done getting where you are with your renovation.
Installing new doors as an idea of time. It really all depends, which I know isn’t helpful, it depends if you are installing new doors in old door frames. If the frames are square and plumb that’s fine. If the frames are all wonky then you will shoot the door in (cut it and pane it to fit). As an experienced carpenter you can install 3 to 5 doors in a day depending on all the variables.
Second part of your question. Because there are so many variables on installing doors. You will be charged per door. This way if it takes the carpenter a morning to do all the doors or takes him 2 days you are safe financially. I charge £95 per door. I am sure you can find cheaper and more expensive. All I will say, it is not a handyman job. It’s a skill.
I hope this helps you and others."

"To fit 1 door it will take roughly up to two hours fully complete with ironmongry fitted
So all in all it it will be between 6-8 hours to do all four with price ranging from £65 / £80 per door"

"Are you putting new door casings in and doors?
If the old casings arent fully true this will take longer to fit the doors so costing more. But on the flip side to rip out old and put new in cost money"

"For four internal doors, you’re looking at about a full day’s work for a skilled carpenter. If the frames are good and the doors are standard size, it’s around £90–£100 per door, so roughly £360–£400 total. Custom or heavy doors might take a bit longer and cost closer to £600–£720all in."

"🔧 Option 1 – New Fire Doors Installation
If these are new fire doors, each installation usually takes around 1 hour and 10 minutes per door, depending on alignment, trimming, and hardware fitting.
For four doors, you can expect a total installation time of roughly 4.5 to 5 hours.
Labour only: approximately £280 per door, including adjustments, alignment, and compliance with fire door standards (FD30).
Labour + materials: if we supply hinges, fire seals, intumescent strips, handles, and other accessories, the cost may rise to around £320–£350 per door, depending on the exact specification.
🔨 Option 2 – Door Refurbishment or Adjustment
If the existing doors just need realignment, trimming, or minor repairs, the work typically takes 30 to 40 minutes per door.
For four doors, that’s about 2 to 3 hours total.
Labour only: around £120–£150 per door, depending on what needs to be done.
Labour + materials: if we need to replace hinges, handles, or add fire seals, it could be around £180–£200 per door."
