How do I get freeview?

I've just cancelled my TV subscriptions and want to use freeview instead. Do I need an aerial to get it?

"There are two ways you can get TV channels for Free, these are

Digital Aerial - Freeview
Satellite - Freesat

If you have left Sky for an example, you can change the LNB (little device on the end of the arm) to transmit a freesat signal, slight realignment of the dish and you have Freesat. You will need either a Freesat box or on most new smart tvs they have freesat built in. Its usually found next to the aerial connection on the back of the TV, looks like you screw something onto it.

Failing that if you dont want freesat or to purchase a freesat box, an Aerial installation is the easiest way to get Free channels.

Samsung have Tv channels built into the TV, but they are not your standard channels you are used to.

Hope this helps."
