Are fiberglass window frames the most resilient and best for weatherproofing a home? If so, why? And what are some other top-of-the-range options in terms of durability and weatherproofing? Thanks!

"If you Google it it tells you how good they are I have never fitted them so I had to Google it myself to be honest they do look good but have a small range of windows they do"

Keep it simple stupid.
Fiberglass is a rubbish idea for windows. Will break down unless regularly maintained.
Stay with PVC-u.
