Emergency locksmith cost

Do many locksmith companies offer emergency locksmith work? Is this offered by most locksmith companies or just some? How much more would it cost to hire a locksmith on short notice/for an emergency call as compared to hiring a locksmith regularly?

"Well, it really depends on time, distance & location and the type of emergency.

You will always be better off by calling a local Locksmith over a company as he/she will likely be cheaper.

Normal daytime hours for a lockout you should be looking in the area of paying between £65-95+ for labour.

Nighttime hours will and should be a lot more. I would say between £120-150+ for labour.

Again it's all down to the individual Locksmith what they want to charge their customers. But again it really depends on the type of job, location, distance & time."

"Majority of companies will offer the emergency service but not all. Cost will depend on situations such as evenings or weekend calls outs.

As well maybe the issue as it requires different tools for different jobs. For the instance of key stuck in the door you may even see figures between £80-£120 etc.

Lost keys again similar sort of pricing but then you're adding further cost onto of the lock being replaced"
