"Yes, Just slightly. With your standard roof you have insulation between the roof while glass doesn’t."

"Generally yes, if a solid roof has been insulated correctly it will typically retain more heat. However there is some great glass roof panels on the market that all have various specifications and energy efficiency ratings depending on your budget. The main benefits from a glazed roof is the extra light and will also be a desirable design feature of the room."

"No, in fact, this will more likely be more energy-efficient as you can get a glass called K glass which has any of energy-efficient values. Also, the outer skin of glass would have a coating on to stop sunlight, penetrating and keeping the heat in"

"if it is a Solid roof you have on it just now….
There is a chance it will…As your solid roof usually will keep in more heat than a glass roof especially in colder temperatures"

"No. Glass is more energy efficient than a Polycarbonate roof. I would recommend having a light weight roofing system with glass roof windows as this will give you all year round usage and also allowing light into your home."
