"Cedar is the best natural moth repellent, followed by lavender. Just keep in mind, you have to first get rid of an infestation before you can prevent future moths. Otherwise, you'll just be hanging up Cedar and lavender sachets as decorations for the larvae to enjoy"

"Unfortunately that question is irrelevant as its not the moth that does the damage. Its the larvae. Nothing deters the larvae which have to be destroyed by insecticidal treatment."

"Moths get in your home via windows or vents, they are attracted to the keratin in the carpet and clothes. Look to prevent the situation not use moth balls or lavander as a solution as it may or may not work. Look at putting fly screens around windows or doors."
