Conservatory door handle stiff to push down

What can I do if my upvc door handle is quite stiff to push down? Feels like it's getting worse

Either the door has dropped slightly or moved due to the heat and that the locking points are not where they should be which makes it difficult for them to disengage. Is it stiff when you push the handle up as well? If it is stiff in both directions that that would probably be the case and could be resolved quite quickly by either a double glazing fitter or a lock smith. What a lot of people never do is lightly oil the lock or any moving part at least once a year

I agree with Stephen’s answer. It’s likely the door has dropped and just needs some adjustment. If it’s only stiff to push the handle down it could just be the latch or hooks catching. Best case is the door just needs toe and heeling or some hinge adjustment. If it’s a failure of the internals of the multipoint lock mechanism, replacements are easily sourced and only a quick job to replace.
