"cherry is a lovely wood , parquet blocks and 10mm battens if either are available , specialist manufacture to order only nowadays . can be a bit soft as its used in a lot of joinery. will need to be accliamtised for at least 2 weeks prior to fitting with a suitable adheasive either on a screed or ply base min 15 mm stuck and screwed to floor boards , keeping the sub floor flat."
