Hello, I'd like to make some improvements to my small garden but I am not sure what the best option is. Currently, my garden is covered with paving slabs; it suited my needs for a long while but now I'd like it to have a bit more of a natural look and feel. I'd very much like having real grass, but due to my age, I'd not be able to take care of it. Therefore synthetic/artifical grass is my only option. I did some research and I believe I have two options: 1. Cover the paving slabs with underlay and place the synthetic grass on top of it or 2. Remove the paving slabs and place the synthetic grass. Options 1 appears to be the easiest, but the cost of grass and underlay is high and I'd assume it would not have the soft feel. Options 2 appears to be more labour consuming and possibly the cost would higher than option one. If the paving slabs are removed, is it necessary to lay Sub-Base and Laying Course? Thank you Eva
Good morning everyone. I want to know what makes a garden low maintenance. How can I turn my garden into a low maintenance garden? I don’t have the energy these days to keep up with all of the cutting/weeding/trimming involved. I want a nice garden that has minimal upkeep.

What is the usual cost for a gardener to re-turf a lawn? I am considering getting my lawns re-turfed soon; Front - 3m x 3.5m Back - 3.7m x 5.5m Would anyone be able to give an estimate for these lawns to be re-turfed of these sizes? Or an approximate guide to estimate the costs involved?

We’ve had a beautiful patio laid by a professional. Pale grey mottled granite style slabs. The gaps were filled with a dry sand/cement mix. Whilst it was being done I queried the colour as it was very yellow, but was assured it would turn grey. A month on, it’s still yellow. It cost a fortune and I’m gutted. The yellow mix has also bled around the edges oF the tiles, obviously wouldn’t have been noticeable if it had dried grey. What has gone wrong and how can it be fixed?
What is a pea gravel patio? Is it a good option for a patio and why do others go for this design exactly? What does it look like and what are its pros and cons? Is it a costly option?

I’ve recently had my patio jointed with the joint-it compound and there’s some staining left in my grey Indian sandstone slabs any recommendations on how to get rid of this before sealing the patio?
If I know that I own the fence, can I jump over and fix it from their side if necessary without talking to them?
