Best option between vinyl or engineered wood

Can you help me decide whether I should have vinyl or engineered wood flooring fitted in my kitchen? Both have a stunning appearance. I would like one that will be sturdy and last the longest. Which of these two is the best option?

"Engineered wood flooring, if not you can put laminate flooring weatherproof."

"Lvt vinyl tiles will make cleaning more easy. Engineered wood is not best for wet clean. You need to take into consideration of floor preparation also lvt needs to have a plywood or latex to existing sub floor. Engineered wood can sometimes be stuck direct to sub floor."

"Use Vinyl flooring, LVT as per manufacturer's guidelines it is excellent and waterproof. Engineered wood however is recommended not to be used in wet areas like kitchen or bathrooms"
