Traps wont be enough to kill hundreds of mice. You can try to use traps but they will breed quicker than you will kill them off.
Poison is good but will only kill the ones living there. You need to locate their entrance point so look for air bricks or small holes around home where you can get a biro into. Fill it with wire wool or give us a call.
