"The average cost for a tarmac drive for 2 cars, is between £2,950 and £3,500, depending on what type of border blocks you use .ie thickness of blocks no less than 65 mm and what quality of block."

"Hiya alli.
It'll depend what's there already.
How much would need to be dug out.
What type drainage you would need.
You really need someone to view the work to get decent quote.
If anyone can quote without viewing I would steer away from them.
Hope this helps.

"Hello Alison you're looking around £3100
Without looking at the job which most tradesmen wouldn’t price a job without viewing it but that is a fair price for most kinds of dig out"

"Hi

You need someone to look and quote you as would need to know what base is there and do you want 6mm topping finish or hot roll and chip? Do you want recessed manhole cover or galvanised ? What colour and style block paving? There is just too many variables to offer an accurate figure.

Depending on location I would be happy to pop over and advise.

Kind regards

"Hi Alison
As others have have said it all depends on what you have ie, a concrete drive way in reasonable condition could be tac coated, regulated and overlaid.

If it's a garden then you need to account for plant,(excavator etc) sub base, concrete etc.

So it could be a few hundred to a few thousand, you need to have it looked at by a good contractor who can give you advice and ideas on how to proceed with your project.

Kind regards,
Dave"

"Roughly about 3600 to 4000 would be my estimate but it’s hard without looking"
