"No. Wasps rebuild new nests every year. Old ones are never re used by other wasps. Queen wasps, old and new start afresh every year"

"Wasps in general do not come back to a old nest, as the new queen goes into hibernation around this time of year, and the new queens starts again in spring looking for a new place to nest"

"Simple answer remove the nest while you can and seal any holes near the nest
otherwise they will return next as long as the nest is fairly firm you can pick it up
and put it in a rubbish bag to get rid of it
