"Removing and disposing of a kitchen worktop to a skip, in London areas costs £260+vat.
Stone worktop Suppliers companies that carrying out these tasks usually can't take responsibility for damages arising from the removal of existing surfaces, and would likely request to install your new worktop so that they can undertake the project in full.

Hope it helps,"

"Normal practice is for the kitchen fitters to remove old worktop, so I do not understand why they are refusing to do so. I remove worktops when I refit a kitchen. Cost should be part of the job. Time depends on what is being removed - MDF or stone for example.

You or they will need a qualified gas fitter to disconnect and reconnect the gas supply as this is safe practice and required for insurance purposes..Cost depends on gas fitter. Hope this helps."
