How should you clean non-stick pans?

How do you clean non-stick trays and pans without taking the coating off?

"Soap and water is the best with a non abrasive sponge.

For burned on food over a period of time, a degreaser would be effective. Start with a very mild solution increasing the strength after every soak and scrub again with a no scratch sponge.

Never use wire wool or any other harsh abrasive cloths or sponges. It may take some time to do the first time, however make sure every bit of grease a removed after each use and you will always have clean non stick surfaces.

Sometimes it’s easier tho just to bite the bullet and get new trays, however don’t let it build up again.

Hope this helps, if you need further advice please let me know 🙂"

"Usually, a quick scrub with mild dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge is enough to clean nonstick pans. For stubborn residue, you might need to soak the pan for a few hours in warm, soapy water before gently scrubbing it clean"

"Hot water, soft pad and washing up liquid, sounds simple but you really do not want to use harsh chemicals or scourers on a non stick surface as it will ruin your item."

"Hot water, washing up liquid and a scrub daddy.

After grubbing for 10 mins, repeat process but with cold water.

The sponge will now go hard to attack the hard parts."
