"Planitherm is a soft coat and Pilkington k is a hardcoat but the soft coated glass is better at reducing heat loss so should provide better energy efficiency over all but saying this k glass has a laminate coating over it so both could be very similar. I all depends on what your trying to achieve or if you are just been up sold a product by the supplier."

"Pilkongton has a better thermol property than k glass but not worth paying more money for it k glass is good enough if you want much better rating then triple glassing is the better option but in my opinion k glass and double glazed is good enough for most windows"

"Most glasses basically do the same job these days….they have a low Emisivity Coating to reflect in the heat….
((Some Glasses However do have a harder coating))….which lets a little less light into property"

"All Planitherm's glazing options have excellent energy efficiency. This includes an argon gas filled cavity and warm edge spacers for enhanced insulation. Their Energy Standard glass is coated to retain the warmth of the sun and prevent heat escaping from your home."
