What's the difference between a type 21 and 22 radiator?

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between type 21 and type 22 radiators? Thanks.

"21 - double panel, double fin
22 - double panel, double fin

22 will give off more heat, but will stick out further than 21!"

"A Type-21 radiator is a double panel single convector ( the fins at the back of the radiator) and a type-22 radiator is double panel double convector, meaning a type-22 radiator will give off more heat than a type-21 radiator.
A type-11 radiator is a single panel, single convector radiator."

"The difference between T 22 and T 21 convector radiators is that in T 22 radiators, there are two sets of convector fins inside the radiator. These push out more heat and are thicker than your average T 21 radiator."

"Hi Sarah, In answer to your question.
Type twenty one radiators are double panel with a single convertor while type twenty two are double panel with two convectors.
You could think of convectors as 'fins' between the panels that help to increase heat output of the radiator.
The advantage of type twenty one is that they fit snugly to the wall whereas, type twenty two are a little bulkier.
Also, you can increase the physical size of a type twenty one to match the relative output of a type twenty two.
Hope this helps. Kind Regards, Chris"
