Are digital door locks worth it?

Could you give me an idea of the pros and cons of a digital door lock?

For an office there ideal for a front door to a house I wouldn’t recommend a digi lock. There not secure enough

Hi I all depends on how much it get used they can be very temperamental and costly too so if it was me the good old fashioned key and barrel a strong lock is the best way forward hope this helps.

Pros. No keys to lose.  Codes are changeable when necessary.  Some locks have quick code change facility.  Electronic versions can log door entries

Cons. Codes can be seen.  Often code sequence does not matter.  Wear on buttons can give code away.

Prices vary greatly whether mechanical or electronic. As in everything you get what you pay for!!!

Hi there. I have had people ring me. Where there digital front door lock has locked them out. This has happened a lot. And are a pain to get them back open. But there are good if you are no good with keys.

Hi Digital Door lock ie versus normal door lock 
digital good when you lock your self out lose you key and you can text someone a key code and you can use with your phone to open no brainer.

Digital locks are no good as anyone with a pair of mo grips can open the lock in a second
