Although bricklayers do not need qualifications, people can earn a level 2 or level 3 diploma in bricklaying. Many bricklayers will complete an apprenticeship, gaining knowledge and experience on-the-job. Bricklaying accreditation boards are also a good indication of what type of bricklayer you're hiring.
