We had a good experience with Ross and Kane. They painted the whole house and it was quite good. They have good ideas. The only issue we have is that they finished the job in a bit messy manner. For example, they didn't cover the household stuff well, so, a lot of them have paints.

Throughout the job, every room was fully sheeted and protected, and we worked hard to deliver a high-quality result under some very challenging conditions. For clarity for future customers reading this: several other trades were working in the property at the same time — carpet fitters, plumbers and carpenters — many of whom arrived without notice while we were still completing painting. This meant we had to repeatedly stop work, move furniture and belongings again, and return to re-touch areas affected by new carpets, radiator installations, and carpentry works. We also completed additional painting to built-in storage areas free of charge, even though these were not part of the original scope. Despite these challenges and access interruptions, all agreed work was completed to a high professional standard. As stated in the signed Stage Payment Agreement , the property was to be cleared and accessible, and other trades scheduled separately — but we still accommodated the unexpected changes and ensured the project was completed to your satisfaction. After a full walk-through inspection, you signed the Final Completion & Satisfaction Agreement confirming: • All snagging had been completed • All areas were fully finished to your satisfaction • No further corrections were required • The property was left in a condition you were happy with We always appreciate feedback and will continue to maintain the high standards of workmanship and professionalism shown throughout your project. Ross is a nice guy, but when it comes on quality of job not great and missing an eye for details, quite few spots on the walls behind the kitchen cupboard missing paint.

For context, this job was taken on at just a few days’ notice after three other painters had already let you down, and you needed it completed urgently. I was asked to complete four rooms in just over 2½ days before you returned to work. Despite the short timeframe, I worked flat-out to get everything finished and also reduced my original quote by £400 to make it affordable for you. Before leaving, I walked you and your partner through every room, asking if there was anything else you wanted done. You both confirmed you were happy, which is why I packed away. Later that night I received a message raising concerns, which I explained were likely due to the cheaper paint provided — it doesn’t always give the best coverage and can show thin patches once dry. Even so, I immediately offered to return and carry out touch-ups free of charge, but you decided to do them yourself instead. I pride myself on being reliable, fair, and customer-focused. I’m glad you recognised that I’m easy to deal with, and I want future customers to know that if any issue ever arises, I always stand by my work and will happily return to put it right.

Living Room Painting Job
Very quick to respond, and wanted to chat about a few details and provide recommendations about this painting job before quoting, which was very helpful. Very quick to attend (despite a small mis-step about timing) - so was all completed within 6 days of posting the request. Coming on two successive days (on the first day to prepare the surfaces) was most appreciated. The job - painting a replastered wall, the associated portion of coving, chimney breast and all of the ceiling - was done to a very good standard (neat edges, blended in well with existing retained paintwork, worked in a tidy way). The quote price was very competitive and the provision of some of the paint was very helpful. Thank you Ross.
Paint Bedroom and Kitchen Walls
Ross completed a last minute job painting my kitchen, conservatory and the main bedroom. He also fixed imperfections to the walls and filled these in fantastic! So happy with the outcome and he is now who I will be using for my garden! I couldn’t recommend this company enough!
