I thought Robert was very good. His communication prior to his arrival was good, he arrived with the right bits to mend the tap, and he was quick to fix the problem, clean and go. I would be pleased t call him again if there are any more issues.

Extremely poor workmanship and then completely ghosted when the problems started. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a tradesperson, and I would strongly recommend thinking twice before booking Robert. I posted a job because I needed some pipework underneath my kitchen sink altered in preparation for a dishwasher installation. Robert responded to the job and we agreed a price in advance: £70 labour plus approximately £17 for the required parts. He arrived and, almost immediately, it became apparent that he had not brought all of the appropriate tools for the job. Throughout the work he repeatedly commented that he wished he had certain tools with him, and I could visibly see that he was struggling. Despite this, I actually felt bad for him because he was putting effort into getting the job completed. I therefore decided to pay him £100 instead of the agreed £87. Part of the reason I was happy to pay extra was because there was another small issue that needed resolving. He explained that the existing hole underneath the sink used for the dishwasher drainage pipe was too small and told me that, since he lives nearby, he would happily come back and enlarge it for me. I thought that was very reasonable and appreciated the offer. Unfortunately, things went completely downhill after he left. A few hours later, I noticed WATER underneath my sink. The pipework/water-filter installation he had just worked on was dripping. Installing the under-sink water filter had also been included as part of the agreed work. I contacted Robert immediately and explained that there was a leak. To his credit, he replied at that point, apologised and said that when he came back to enlarge the dishwasher hole, he would also tighten the filter and fix the leak. This was on Saturday. On Sunday, knowing that my dishwasher was due to be installed on Monday, I messaged him again asking when he could come back because I needed the problem sorted before the appliance arrived. No reply. On Monday, I messaged him AGAIN explaining that the dishwasher was arriving that day and asking whether he could please come over. Again, completely ignored. It is now Tuesday evening and I still have not received a single response. So after taking my money, leaving me with leaking plumbing and promising to return to finish the work, he has apparently decided to completely ghost me. What makes the whole experience even worse is the quality of some of the work itself. When installing the water filter, screws were put through the sink cabinet/board and are now visibly protruding through it. So I have been left not only with a leaking installation, but also damage to the inside of my kitchen unit. To summarise: • Agreed price was £87 and I voluntarily paid £100 because I appreciated the effort he appeared to be making. • He arrived without all of the tools he apparently needed. • The newly installed plumbing/filter was leaking within HOURS of him leaving. • Screws from the filter installation were left protruding through my sink cabinet. • He specifically promised to return and fix both the leak and the dishwasher drainage-hole issue. • I contacted him repeatedly because the dishwasher installation was imminent. • He completely ignored my messages and has still not returned. • I have effectively been left to find someone else to correct and finish work that I have already paid for. There was also something I found quite unusual about the payment process. Rather than paying a business account, I was instructed to make a personal bank transfer to an account that was not even in Robert's name, but in the name of someone he told me was his wife. I cannot comment on the reason for this, but combined with everything else it certainly did not inspire confidence in the professionalism of the service. What frustrates me most is that I was actually extremely reasonable throughout. I paid MORE than the agreed amount because I appreciated the effort. I did not complain when he struggled with the job. I accepted his promise that he would come back. And when I discovered the leak, I simply contacted him and gave him the opportunity to fix it. Instead, I was ignored. Mistakes can happen. A fitting can leak and sometimes work needs adjusting afterwards. What is completely unacceptable is taking someone's money, acknowledging that your work needs fixing, promising to return, and then simply disappearing when the customer tries to contact you. If Robert had simply replied and come back to correct the work as promised, I would never have written this review. Unfortunately, the combination of poor workmanship, an unfinished job, damage to the cabinet, leaking plumbing and then being completely ghosted leaves me with absolutely no confidence in this service. I now have to pay another professional to inspect and correct the work. Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend Robert or this company. If I had the option to formally escalate this through the company and request my money back, I would. One star only because zero stars is not an option.

Robert was very helpful. Managed to get to the job a couple of days after posting and also helped me out by having the items needed to fix the issues so there wasn’t any further delay. He was on time and got both jobs completed. Pricing was also fair. Highly recommend

I would strongly advise against hiring Robert. He agreed to install a bidet in my brand-new bathroom and instructed me to purchase all the required materials and even demolish part of the bathroom to prepare for the installation. After I had spent the money and completed the preparation, he repeatedly delayed the job. On the day he finally agreed to come and do the work, he never showed up. Since then, he has completely stopped responding to my messages and calls, leaving me with a damaged bathroom and no installation. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time and money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Robert for any plumbing work. This version is forceful while sticking to the facts of what happened, which generally makes a review more credible and less likely to be challenged.

Robert arrived as planned and completed the job quickly and at a good price. Would recommend!

Robert was great. Spot on communication skills, great service and very knowledgeable. Definitely I'd recommend him.
