Build New Backyard Step
Highly Unprofessional Conduct and Poor Service Quality I am writing this review to document my experience and to caution others who may consider hiring this company/person. Based on my interaction, I cannot recommend their services to anyone seeking professionalism, reliability, or transparent communication. At the quotation stage, the contractor measured the entire backyard visually, without using a tape measure. When I requested proper measurements, he insisted that he had been doing this since the age of 15. Despite this unusual approach, we agreed on a quotation and signed a payment structure. The project began one day earlier than the agreed start date, without prior notice. Although a clear payment plan had been mutually agreed upon and documented, the contractor did not adhere to it. Instead, he initiated frequent disputes—often late at night via WhatsApp—demanding payments outside the agreed schedule. He repeatedly threatened to abandon the project and stated that he would return only after three months. Throughout the project, the contractor altered and manipulated the terms of the agreement to suit his own interests. The contract explicitly included the installation of ACO drains. However, during the flag-laying process, he became agitated and stated that he would install only one ACO drain, claiming he would “win in court” if challenged. He then charged additional fees for the remaining drains, despite them being part of the original agreement. His initial “eye-based” measurements proved inaccurate, resulting in the need for additional wood sleepers. He insisted that this was my responsibility and charged extra once again. Furthermore, he provided a link to premium-quality artificial grass during the quotation stage but delivered significantly inferior material. When questioned, he dismissed my concerns, accused me of being distrustful, and refused to engage in any constructive discussion. By this stage, I had paid approximately 85% of the total project cost, while only around 50% of the work had been completed. When I raised concerns regarding the final payment, the contractor responded by becoming argumentative and proceeded to remove previously installed flags and the ACO drain. This experience has been extremely stressful and unprofessional. I have comprehensive evidence, including the signed agreement, WhatsApp conversations, and other documented communication, which I can provide if required.
Visio ProjectsThe customer is mistaken and not paid us for our service as they decided they wanted to order the grass their self on the day of us finishing the job owing us over £2,000 When we priced the job they ask for 1m rises flower beds which the measurements was £25 m2 then charged the the flower beds to 400 mm so with the reducing of the flower beds, obviously the Grass area will be coming bigger we are we have have many years experience in measuring project using the fence panels and with the method of measurements This man ripped us off with over £2,000 as he ask for extra work and was not happy to pay for this We priced for 15 railway sleepers which ended at the end of the patio area and then they insisted on one side for the patio to the rise's flower bed to continue to the house With the current climate all prices because of the fuel prices increasing of materials has gone up we did not charge them any extra as a goodwill gesture just asked for them to pay for materials directly. This was on on our behalf. But never ask for more money we have been told the material ie grass was coming coming to today 2 weeks later We have tried to contact them to compete the job with no success They just ignored us the work is to a very high standard and there’s two days work to finish and the customer not allowing us to get the work completed so we have done 9 days for £700 two men I’ll like this review removed

Storm-Damaged Wall & Steps Repair
Mike from Visio Projects came to provide me with a quote for a storm damaged front garden wall. He was friendly and constructive with his comments about how best to deal with situation that was left by the damaged wall. His vision was to rebuild all the remaining walls by reusing many of the stone bricks, and removing the red stone bricks around the front steps - thereby creating a much neater, aesthetically pleasing boundary to our garden. I agreed with his suggestions, and work was started promptly - however, deplorable weather caused delays on 3 days. The job was completed and it is a testament to Mikes professionalism as a bricklayer, and his ability to visualise quality finishes. I am very happy with the outcome of this job, and have nothing but positive things to say about Visio Projects. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Remove Cement, Check DPC and Brickwork
The job itself was done okay, but the whole experience with Visio project and Michael was odd. The job they helped with includes repairing rainwater gutters, rebedding ridge tiles and lead flashings, repointing chimney, installing vents and replacing facia boards. Things we didn't have good experience with: 1. The communication was poor throughout, had to keep asking when they would turn up. 2. Got quoted 3 days of work, ended up finishing in about 1.5 days. Some work that was promised wasn't done. Rebedding ridge tiles and repointing chimney was done in less than 4 hours, which I don't think is whats needed to do the job properly. 3. Michael contacted me with 3 different phone numbers and always called me with a 'No Caller ID' number. 4. Michale wasn't on site when they finished the work. That's fine but that means I had to spare another day to go through the work with him. 5. So the next day he came to check everything and confirmed payments were settled before he left. Afterwards he was going on about an outstanding balance but when I asked for proof he couldn't give anything. Two weeks after I still got a phone call from him AT MIDNIGHT. This is the part I am upset the most. I might not be very fair here but the experience wasn't very pleasant for me. Note: Michael followed up with me afterwards regarding the call I received at midnight. He apologised and stated that the call wasn't from him. They didn't mean to bother me at midnight, it's likely to be a mistake.

And we have more than one number, which most companies do as for the bringing up at 12 o’clock at night please provide evidence of this But we see that the job itself was done to a degree standard which is great to hear our team done a amazing service Many thanks
