Fit 6 Oak Internal Doors
Ian and Declan were great. Ian was excellent at communicating with me before the job to ensure everything was sorted with materials, etc. They turned up on time and got straight to it; it was immaculate and tidy work. Ian advised on things as he went along and was very good at dealing with unforeseen plan changes. Very friendly and professional throughout, everything finished to a very high standard. Great work and I will be using them again for more work.

Replace 1930s Style Internal Oak Doors
Must say we were highly disappointed with some of the work carried out by Ian.He hung one of the doors in a frame where the header was out of square by 20mm he said the frame cannot be altered as it was a supporting brick wall ,he tried to cover the gap with a piece of timber which looked awful and out of place and obviously there was still a large gap on the other side of the door.We provided the door handles which were £52 a set they came with clamping bolts as they were heavy.When I removed them to decorate Ian had thrown the bolts in the bin and used small Phillips screws to fix them to the doors the matching doors downstairs were fitted with bolts and have a slotted face.I had to employ another joiner to level the frame and drill the doors for correct fitment of bolts, the frame that needed altering was in a brick wall but a timber partition so could be altered easily to level the frame. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Ian to anyone else as I feel he is lacking professionalism with the excuses he came up with.
Robson JoineryThanks for the review , but i peiced to hang 4 door which i did. not to do door frame alteration as to to you refering to the weight of the door handles , they are standard door handles with no weight in them and the screw we use are more then adequate to hold the handles securely in place , i have done over 60 door installation on this website alone , with only good reviews . but some people always want extras incorparated in the price , i have been doing this for over 40 years . and always try to give all my customers a good service and a quality job on what i quote on , i am sorry that you feel the way you do . but as far as we are conserned we fulfilled what we quoted for .. rgds ian .. ps sorry for any spelling mistakes as i dont have my glasses on
