Loft Staircase Installation
The guys were very good but I think they should have viewed the area before they purchased the materials. They had to take the original wooden staircase back and change it to an aluminium stair because the wooden one was too big for the space. However, when they came back with the aluminium stair, they were very clean and tidy whilst fitting it and did not take too long.
Living Room Laminate Flooring Replacement
Gary and his colleague at Pricecut Joinery did a stellar job! They fitted the laminate flooring beautifully, with a really nice pattern, and offered helpful suggestions to make the room look its best. Their quote was excellent, and the final result was perfect .. we’re so pleased. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks again!
Replace and Upgrade Garden Shed
I hired Gary to build a 'bespoke' insulated and lined shed/garden room in my rear garden. What I got was a mould ridden damp structure. Gary was not involved in the initial build and had sent unqualified joiners/labourers to construct the building whilst he worked on other jobs. I brought the mould issues to his attention immediately on finding these due to heavy rainfall. The build was neither airtight or weatherproof. To my regret he had been paid in full so he was in no rush to rectify problems he was responsible for. It took him ages to respond to my complaints and when he attended my premises on 9 separate occasions over the following months to 'fix' the issues, he failed to do so and the mould & damp issues remained. He avoids contact when things go wrong and does not engage in any urgency to resolve issues. I have been fighting this matter for over a year now and no longer want Gary back on my premises. No due care was taken throughout the entire project. So I have to have his work rectified by a competent joiner and a damp specialist treat the source of the rising damp. I am also now in the process of pursuing him through court for breach of contract and shoddy workmanship. I do not recommend him and would definitely not use him again.
