Where do I begin. Work date was agreed on, deposit paid, work should have started in April. I message the day before to check we are still on plan and get told his brother has fell through a roof and is in hospital so he can not attend. Moved the start date to the following Monday. Did not show up Monday. No message, no calls, no responses for 2 days. Finally get a call Wednesday saying he had been unwell and agreed a different date. Showed up this time, started taking the shower down and ripped half the wall off. Had to order more bits so again the job was on hold. Few more missed visits but eventually came and installed the shower. All looked OK on the day, my partner then asked him to do some additional work (panelling) when he came to finish the job and do the bath. Again took more money from her for supplies. After a day when we could use the shower noticed none of the top caps or screw covers had been installed. Big blobs of silicone on random bits of the ceiling (nowhere near the shower), shower door had not been installed correctly so does not shut, gaps in the frame so it leaks and the fram actually moves if you touch it as its not secured properly. Relayed all this and got told he would sort it all on his next visit. He then ordered a new shower door. Couple more failed visits due to ill health and then a final agreed date to come and finish. Failed to show up. No response to messages for days. Apparently he was in hospital and is suffering from ill health. Had 2 different plumbers come round to look at finishing the job, both advised such a bad job had been done on the shower it would be cheaper to rip out and start again than fix it. Habe asked multiple times for a refund which he has agreed too on June 18th. Still no refund, getting strung along with comments of he is in hospital, he is waiting for funds to clear from his ISA so should have it soon, refund is processing. Basically anything apart from actually returning my money. Despite the fact he is too ill to respond to messages or answer my calls I see based on the reviews that are still being posted on here that he is well enough to work. Unfortunately it will not allow me to give 0 stars so he is getting an undeserved 1 star. I have everything documented in case anyone needs to see the proof and will be taking it further.

Got in touch straight away. Came next day fitted a washbasin and surround a brilliant job coming back to do another job. Would recommend.

The plumber I had to do the work he was very talkative and did the job but didn’t tell me how much until he had done the work and wanted cash not that bothered me but he should have said when he came
