Replace Bathroom Ceiling Plasterboard
Thank you Nigel. I had to have a section of my bathroom ceiling taken down and replaced and re-plastered. It was a messy and dusty job. Nigel really helped me with this job. This was a long running issue and Nigel has fixed the problem. A very skilled plasterer and also a really nice guy. I highly recommend Plastering Perfections and Nigel.
Plasterboard and Skim Boiler Room
I hired Nigel to plaster an airing cupboard room, and I needed the job done urgently. He was accommodating and agreed to come out on the weekend, which I really appreciated. The job was more complex than a standard room due to the tight space around the tank, pipes, and boiler. Nigel mentioned he couldn’t access behind the pipes, which I completely understood. He reassured me by saying he’d plaster as if it were his own home, which gave me confidence in his work (aswell as the reviews). However, when he finished, I noticed some areas weren’t completely smooth. I raised this with him, and while he did address a few spots, he assured me that the decorators would sort out any remaining imperfections or that the clumps of plaster would "drop right off." Unfortunately, this was not the case. My decorator and I have since spent hours trying to fix the unevenness, and it’s clear I should not have accepted the job as it was - this was my bad for not completely knowing what the finish should look like and trusting Nigel. I have had multiple trades people and friends come to the house who have also mentioned the job was not done well. Despite the positive reviews I read beforehand, my experience did not match up. Sadly, I cannot recommend Nigel based on this experience.

Skim Plastering for Hallway Ceiling
Nigel was very prompt, professional and courteous. He contacted me quite quickly after the job was posted, gave a very competitive quote and could fit the job in within a few days. He turned up exactly when he said he would and completed an excellent job. I would have no hesitation using him again.
