Positives - Patrick turned up on time to give a quote and was very personable. He followed up with a quote very quickly and overall communication was good. The quote was fair in my opnion and competitive. Once the price was agreed he turned up to the job on time. The job was completed in the 5 days quoted. The standard of work I would rate as ok hence the numeric rating. There is no doubt Patrick is a hard worker and trustworthy. Constructive Feedback - when quoting take a pad and pen and make notes. Replay back to customer the scope of work. When you issue the invoice ensure the scope of works is contained. This would have avoided the following - a debate on what was in scope when I pointed out what works had not been done. Although the works were completed on day 5 granted much later than planned. As a customer I didn't appreciate after being told the job would be completed by 18:30 having to wait around until 23:30 because parts of the job were not completed or to the standard in other areas of the house which were good. Also the knock on effect of the delay was Patrick had to rush to get the job completed. Also the peculiar arrangement to address your transportation challenge this might put off prospective customers and could be a deterrent to securing jobs that take a longer duration. So I would suggest not seeking that arrangement in the future. My feedback may not be representative of other jobs Patrick has completed and is meant to be constructive. I would invite Patrick to quote for other work in the future on the basis of his fair price, his work ethic and he can be trusted.
