Roof Repair
We were delighted with the response and service provided by this company. They quickly identified the source of leakage into the property and attended to the problem straight away. They cleared a gutter blockage and patched up several areas where water was getting in. Thanks K-1 for fixing and sealing our leaks in a friendly, professional manner. Would be happy to recommend.

Guttering and Rainwater Pipe
Left tarpolins and debris everywhere and still have their ladders and tools on my roof and back garden. Trading standards trying to find them.

Roof Repair
My roof/felt needed looking at as I could hear dripping when it rained. Joseph (K1 Roofing & Building) phoned after I posted the job, on 2nd Jan, came round that afternoon to look in my loft. Found the problem straight away, quoted me verbally, then in writing later. I accepted his quote and him and Stan started the job the very next day. Re-bedded ridge tiles, repointed chimney, and checked the flashing around the chimney, replaced some felt in my loft. Spoke to me and said while they’re here they could remove the moss from my roof and replace any tiles that needed it for an additional amount of money. Joseph sent me an updated quote, I accepted as I thought I may as well get the whole roof checked while I’m at it. They cleared all the moss and there were some tiles that needed replacing so did that. They also put a few more brackets on my guttering as Joseph said there weren’t really enough to hold it securely. They cleared up afterwards and there was a lot, of moss especially, to clear up! There were a couple of minor negative points, hence 4/5. The removed moss was put in my green garden rubbish bin, which the council charge a yearly amount to remove, which I don’t pay for, so now I’m left with a very heavy bin. I felt a little bit pressured into the additional work, just in the way it was presented to me. Yes I know I could’ve said no, but on thinking about it, it probably was a good idea. I also think I should’ve got more quotes but because I was worried about the rain coming in and the damage water can do if left, I felt it needed doing urgently and Joseph could do it immediately. All in all I would recommend K1 Roofing.
