Frank has been exceptionally friendly. I needed to have submeter installed for my flat and EICR certificate. Had a wonderful experience. He was a timely and clear communicator which has been my #1 problem with other electricians in the past. He's very knowledgeable about his craft and I can tell he cares. EICR Certificate for House
France.Sparks, aka Franck Souza, aka Fateh Chreef, aka Souza Computers, was asked to give me an EICR certificate. He asked me for £120 in advance, which I've never been asked for before but I needed it done quickly, so I paid him. He then said it needed some work doing and quoted me £166 for parts and £280 for 'labour', which like the earlier rev8ew, he demanded payment to his account immediately before he would start the work. I've never been asked for payment before the work was even started but I did it anyway as I needed the certificate urgently. When he did the work I asked my tenant what he thought and he said it looked OK. When I told him how much he charged he said from when he arrived to when he left no more than 30 to 35 minutes!!!, that equates to £560 per hour roughly. I am a pensioner and for me this was a serious amount of money. My Cardiac Surgeons rate is £360 per hour. I was caught out by this person so read this as a word of caution. Do your research before hiring him. It took me a week of calls and messages to get the certificate and an invoice. He doesn't charge VAT, which is interesting, probably too HMRC.
