EICR Certificate for House
France.Sparks, aka Franck Souza, aka Fateh Chreef, aka Souza Computers, was asked to give me an EICR certificate. He asked me for £120 in advance, which I've never been asked for before but I needed it done quickly, so I paid him. He then said it needed some work doing and quoted me £166 for parts and £280 for 'labour', which like the earlier rev8ew, he demanded payment to his account immediately before he would start the work. I've never been asked for payment before the work was even started but I did it anyway as I needed the certificate urgently. When he did the work I asked my tenant what he thought and he said it looked OK. When I told him how much he charged he said from when he arrived to when he left no more than 30 to 35 minutes!!!, that equates to £560 per hour roughly. I am a pensioner and for me this was a serious amount of money. My Cardiac Surgeons rate is £360 per hour. I was caught out by this person so read this as a word of caution. Do your research before hiring him. It took me a week of calls and messages to get the certificate and an invoice. He doesn't charge VAT, which is interesting, probably too HMRC.

Prompt in responding to an electrical malfunction/fuse box issue which needed an urgent resolution as we have a baby. Arrived in approx an hour, all fixed in another 20-30 minutes. Very polite and super service. Thank you!
Replace Electric Shower Unit
I booked Frank to replace an existing shower with a new one in a rental flat. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. He arrived an hour late, and after finishing the job, he insisted on immediate payment but did not want to provide a receipt or invoice at that moment. When I explained that I needed an invoice for HMRC, as the work can be deducted from rental income tax, he said he would add 20% if I required an invoice. He also refused to leave the flat until payment was made, which created a very uncomfortable situation for both me and my tenant. My tenant later told me he felt uneasy during the visit. I’ve managed many electrical and plumbing jobs over the past 20 years, both in my own home and in the rental flat, and I have never experienced such an unprofessional situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend his services.
