I see a lot of the ads that people are posting have a sequence of common denominators. Contractors and self employed people buy these leads and arrive to give a quote and for some, get the job.
I have been called by these people later, only to be disappointed by the work quality and asked to come and do it properly.
I’m the guy who thinks outside the box. Here are a few examples.
Fence staining or painting: I’m sorry to disappoint most of you, but the products that are on the shelves don’t work. Think about it-3 to 5 years ago, you stained or painted the fence. How does it look now? In 3-5 years, it will look exactly the same, but the wood will have also rotted a little bit more. Contractors use what is sold to them off the shelf. I don’t! I use an old way, that was quietly removed! It protects the wood and probably will outlast you!
Pressure washing: I have commercial units that clean your patio/driveway like new! But most of them have cracks. Contractors use what they can get from the shops! I use science to heal the cracks, but prevent them coming back or more forming!
Mould in buildings: a lot of contractors don’t understand how or why mould grows. Think of mould as a plant. Given the right conditions, it will grow and with a root. Tip-bleach doesn’t work.
Weed control: I have 2 solutions for this. One for patios and driveways and the other for lawns. No round up, no nitrogen fertiliser! I use science that is perfectly safe.
I do contract work for letting and estate agents. I think outside the box on every encounter that I come across. I might not be the cheapest or the most expensive, but I use old knowledge that has been suppressed by the corporate world.
