Guide to our Job Leads

How many leads will I get?

The simple answer, is it depends on a number of factors, primarily where you are in the country and which trade categories you cover. Our strongest areas are major cities and towns and if you live within 10-20 minutes you will likely receive regular job leads from our service.

We advertise all over the UK and actively create advertising campaigns individually for our trades. This means that if you are in a more remote location or have a specialist skill we can still find you work as long as you want the leads we generate.

If you are unsure about whether or not the service will work for you, please contact our support team and they will be able to give you a better estimate of how many jobs you can expect to receive from us per month.

How to get more leads

There are several ways to get more leads sent to you by MyJobQuote:

  • Widen your operating radius to receive jobs from further afield - Find out how to do this
  • Make sure you have added all of the trades your business covers including sub categories - Find out how to do this
  • Buy more of the jobs we send you - If you purchase a higher percentage of jobs we will see that as a sign to generate more leads for you.
  • Give us clear rejections for the leads that don't interest you so we can tailor the leads we send to your preferences

Not getting any leads - Why?

There are several reasons why you might not be getting leads they are:

  • Your are not fully verified
  • You are a new trade
  • We don't currently have any leads in your area or volume is low
  • Your account has been disabled

If you are not fully verified our system won't alert you to new jobs in your area. It also won't actively target you until you are verified. Why not learn about Verifying Your Account.

If you are a new trade we ask you to wait a few days to start seeing new leads in your area. This is particularly the case when you operate in a small town or in a more rural setting.

If we don't have leads in your area this is most likely because we don't have enough trades who cover your skills in the surrounding area. If you are not sure please contact us.

If your account has been disabled you will see a message either in your dashboard or at the top of pages. This is different to not being verified and can be caused for a number of reasons. If your account is disabled you can read about how to resolve it here.
