Very very poor service. Company only made of 1 person (David), we signed a contract in June 25 for a start date of 18th August 25 and I paid my deposit to secure dates. When approaching August I received a text to advice the workers are on annual leave as it’s summer holidays therefore nobody available to do my foundations work. As professionals shoud this not have all been prearranged when I paid to secure the dates? I then gave it another 6 weeks and start date of project would be 15th Sept 25. This was also ignored and reasons provided (adverse weather- rain) my next start date was 29th Sept. This was also breached with a invalid reason that the previous customers concrete wagon did not turn up therefore they have had to spend extra days on that job. This was not my problem but I still gave benefit of doubt and once again another date was offered of 1st Oct 25. I then received a message on 30th Sept 25 stating cancellation of the contract just 1 day before they were supposed to start work. The simple reason was that I as the customer had no trust in this company. In total I paid this company £18k for deposit and kitchen appliances fittings etc back in June 25. I saw no work done on my property what so ever, even the garage was demolished privately not by Yorkshire renovations. I also reached out to the trading address of this company in York but they advised this company does not exist and never heard of. Yet I still went ahead with the contract only to be fooled after 4 months. I would not recommend this company as they can make excuse after excuse for not turning up and then finally throwing a cancellation letter via WhatsApp. I have wasted all my summer waiting for this company to do the job only to be let down. Very unprofessional and no commitment. The contract was breached 3 times and when it comes to refund I was told to wait 21 days. As I was on very cold terms with David (not answering my calls) I had no alternative but to approach my bank and get my money back through them. Luckily I have my £18k back but my valuable time was wasted by this company.
