Install Skirting Board in Conservatory
Following his initial visit to assess the job, Paul Worswick cancelled the first two dates that were agreed for him to attend to carry out the work, giving little notice. He attended on the third agreed date and installed a white UPVC covering over the rotten wooden conservatory skirting. He applied a black sealant to join the UPVC covering to the beading. Paul advised that the sealant had to be left to dry for a couple of days and agreed a date to return to finish the job. He failed to attend at the agreed time and when contacted he said that he had forgotten. He promised to come the following day but again failed to attend at the agreed time. When contacted he said that the would be with us in 45 minutes. He did not arrive and ignored all subsequent calls and messages.
Integrated Appliance Plumbing Repair
Initially he told me that a part my dishwasher doesn't even have needed replacing. Charged me for ordering that part, when I queried it he said he got 2 models confused, and would repay me when he got a refund. Little did I know but he caused a major leak by compromising the pump seal. While I was waiting a refund from incorrect part, I paid him to buy the correct part, and he never turned up to fit it, despite promising and me texting him numerous times. He said AEG's warranty won't cover the pump and it does. AEG Engineer came out and said that Paul had made the job 10 times worse for him to put right, and caused the leak. Paul agreed to refund me the cost of the 2 parts (that HE would be getting refunded by taking them back), and I'm still waiting for the £140. Don't let him near your appliances or pipes!
Repair Water Damaged Ceiling
Paul was prompt turning up and did the job quickly and expertly for far less that I'd expected. I will use him again if I need anything like that doing.
Kitchen Cabinet and Tap Repair
Paul did a great job for our urgent kitchen cabinet repair job. He was able to book the job in for the next day, arrived on time and was really friendly. He came with all the tools and fixtures he needed and finished the job really quickly too. Thanks!
Remove Mantelpiece and Hearth
Paul was great - job was done well and quickly 👍 could have left the space a bit tidier (unfortunately he didn't have his broom/ mop like usual!) but otherwise I was very happy 😊
Remove Gas Fire and Re-plaster Wall

They texted to confirm visit the night before, turned up early. Got stuck in, nothing was a hassle. Worked neat, tidy & clean (and plastering in its nature is messy). They didn’t stop until finished. Even swept the road on their way out. A set of the good guys these. And, 4hrs after they left, the wall is drying well and seamless. I also asked for the soundproof plasterboard to be used and it’s working. Thank you very much Paul 👍
