Various Home Maintenance Tasks
This is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to leave a negative review, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I arranged for Jan to carry out work at both my house and my parents’ house. Unfortunately, he only turned up for one day and left most of the jobs incomplete. The electrical work was not done properly, the cooker hood installation was left unfinished, and the exhaust was poorly fitted. Despite this, I still paid him half the agreed amount in good faith and asked him to return the following week to complete the work. He agreed, so I arranged my schedule accordingly and even took a day off. However, he never came back, did not respond to my messages, and ignored multiple phone calls. Overall, the work was left incomplete, communication was very poor, and I was left disappointed and out of pocket.

Jan's communications were very good, and he was flexible in. terms of fitting in the job to suit us. It was a tricky job because the instructions were not always clear and in fact there were design faults, but he worked very quickly and efficiently despite the intense heat. I was very satisfied with his work and perseverance, and would happily use him for anything similar. He is a polite and friendly young man, and clearly trustworthy.

Jan came at short notice to do a big job in my garden that needed doing urgently. He worked very hard for several hours and did the jobs satisfactorily. He was very polite and friendly and conscientious. I was very happy with his work and I would not hesitate to call him out again.
Repair Crack Between Extension and House
We recently had Jan and his team over to replaster and rebuild a deteriorating wall and ceiling in the extension of our home, which connects to the main house. From start to finish, the entire experience was outstanding. The work was carried out with true professionalism, and I was especially impressed by how tidy the team was throughout the project. They stuck exactly to the original timeline, were always punctual, and consistently courteous and respectful. The quality of the finish is superb—truly a splendid job. I would highly recommend Jan and his team to anyone looking for reliable, skilled builders.
