SM Building, Carpentry & Electrical Services provides professional, reliable and high-quality building and property refurbishment services.
With many years of experience in the construction industry, I undertake projects from start to finish — from internal demolition and strip-out works, including removal of old kitchens, bathrooms, walls, flooring and ceilings, through to complete renovation, installation and final finishing.
My services include carpentry and joinery, kitchen fitting, bathroom renovations, electrical works, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating, wall and floor tiling, flooring, extensions, loft conversions, summer houses and full property refurbishments.
I undertake both small and large projects and treat every customer's property with care and respect. I always aim to keep the work area clean and organised and minimise disruption throughout the project.
Before work begins, I discuss the job clearly with the customer so that the scope of work, requirements and costs are understood and agreed. Good communication, reliability and attention to detail are important to me from the first meeting through to completion.

Full Kitchen Installation and Refurbishment
I’m extremely happy with the work Slawek carried out in my home. From our very first conversation, he took the time to understand my project and gave me a lot of useful advice and ideas about the best way to approach the renovation. My old kitchen needed a complete transformation, including new kitchen units, electrical work, new flooring, plumbing alterations, plastering, decorating and painting. Slawek was very knowledgeable and helped me make several important decisions during the project. He was hardworking, reliable, honest and very professional throughout the whole job. The work progressed quickly, but without cutting corners, and he always paid great attention to detail. He also kept the working area clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. Slawek clearly has a lot of experience with different types of work around the home and I felt I could trust his advice. I’m extremely pleased with the final result and would have no hesitation in hiring him again for other projects in my house. Full Small Bathroom Refurbishment
I chose SM buildings carpentry, electrical and services two renovate my bathroom into a shower room. The work was done with no problems and they went over and above what we quoted the shower look room is absolutely wonderful and I am really pleased with the work and it was a real reasonable price and every day they left the place spotless cleared up and Hoover and left the place so clean I would have them back to do any other work I needed doing

Replace Shower, Bath, Sink Taps
Slawek did an incredible job: very fast and efficient but with attention to detail and care. I initially asked him just to replace the skirting boards in my living room but ended up getting him to work on the whole flat because he was so good. I will definitely be reaching out to him for future jobs.

Full Bathroom Refurbishment
My bathroom renovation required switching from a bath into a standing shower. SM Building Slawek, completed this job perfectly and precisely. Slawek is a gods sent. He was very good with communication and gave me a lot of advice with whats best. Slawek recommended under heating flooring also gave me a new extractor fan and lights for decoration and finishing touches. Slawek was always on time and he was very responsible and VERY CLEAN!! I couldn’t be happier with the finished bathroom I can’t wait for Slawek to do extra works around the house and I will be recommending him further. I’m very satisfied in his work and can’t wait to work with him in the future

Lay Engineered Flooring in Two Rooms
Slawek has done a brilliant job with installing engineered wood flooring, replacing skirting, electrical work and filling the wall.
