We posted a job not knowing exactly what needed doing. Only the symptoms. Shane asked a few questions to troubleshoot and gave a quote from there. We gave a short timeframe to carey out the work as we were without lights. Once he was at home we realized the issue was bigger than what initially expected. Still, Shane took time in his busy schedule to fix it and in a sustainable way. Also polite and explaining very well. Also giving tips about things we can fix ourselves. Very helpful. Very transparent. Will most probably call him again.

Shane contacted me very quickly after I submitted the job and came round within a couple of hours. He gave me a good idea of the likely cost and actually charged me less as the issue was quickly and easily remedied. He gave helpful advice and was very amenable and polite. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again if we have any electrical issues.

Shane comes across as likeable, honest and competent. He answered the call promptly and provided a very reasonable quote. The work was carried out very satisfactorily within a few days and all paperwork updated. I would happily recommend to friends and family.

Job completed in the time stated and even included some extra light fittings! Managed to sort out some issues we'd had with the consumer unit tripping and we are now able to use our hob for the first time in a while without the risk of it tripping out the whole house! We now have power points in the garden, our summerhouse and capability to support external lights from and back should we require in the future. Explained everything fully pre and post works and all works completed to a high standard.

Accurate, fair, not like the person we had called in the day before who could not find the fault. This trader was spot on with everything, spent minimal time here, and left everything tidy. Have already used him again with same comments relevant.

I'd highly recommend Shane to anyone looking for electrical work. He: - Was very communicative - Very skilled in completing the work - Open about pricing - Completed it quickly (in particular given the job complexity ended up being higher than expected) - Was a very honest, nice guy to deal with I'll certainly be using him for future electrical work
