Sam the gas fitter installed a new cooker very efficiently and demonstrated all its features. We had agreed he would remove the old cooker but his scrap metal man let him down so he paid another firm out of his own pocket, which reduced his bill from £60 to £50. Very good value and a nice guy.

Sam Plumbing & Heating Engineer called me and sent an e.mail as soon as my post went on line, he quoted a £60 charge, for the Labour and arrived right on time. Sam and his labourer introduced themselves and were so honest, hard working and very well mannered. After they checked over the cooker they realised I needed a new hose to connect my new cooker to the gas supply, they told me they had a hose in their van an could connect the cooker right there and then, I was super pleased, I went upstairs to try and turn the gas and electric off from the boiler cupboard in the back bedroom, I went downstairs around 10 minutes later and explained that I couldn’t turn either off and Sam said don’t worry he’d switched both off by the mains, I then realised the cooker that had been in my living room for just over 2 weeks had gone and all of the packaging was in a neat pile, I went into the kitchen and my old electric cooker was gone, Sam said oh yes we disconnected it and put it outside for you, he connected me to the gas supply then he said I’m so, so sorry but the cooker is too wide for the space, Sam and his labourer decide to take the black metal trims off the sides of my worktops they were then able to get the cooker in to the space, Sam then took me into the kitchen and showed me exactly how to use the cooker what all the bits were for etc etc he left my house clean and tidy, he even brushed away a few bits from behind the cooker before he fitted the new cooker, both Sam and his labourer were so efficient and I would recommend them a million per cent, my bill did come to £100 pound in the end but that was due to the connection pipe, I was more than happy to pay him Thanks once again Sam and labourer, so sorry my memories so bad at the moment and I can’t remember your name just now buthanks you were so lovely and your both very much appreciated. Sam was on time, pleasant and determined to get the correct part for the job as quickly as possible. Definetly recommend him.
